These ceramic and wool flowers were exhibited as part of the reopening of Studio Two at deDoelen. The show was curated by Niek Verschoor and represented the last exhibition at the gallery in the 1980s, alongside the new generation of (mostly female) Rotterdam artists. I took the opportunity to create a new kind of flora, layered with nostalgia and tactility.
